How to Enjoy a Nude Beach.

Part of my New HOW-TO series…
Nude Beach.
On New Years Day, my hitchhiking trip has brought me to a nude beach near San Diego. Clothing is “optional” is the technical way to describe the beach. My friend, Dave, whom lives here likes the beach because of it’s privateness and lack of crowds. Blacks Beach is the name. We actually met two other hitchhikers, Matt and Mike, and we drive out to hang on the beach.
I spent most of my time clothed, but of course, I had to try out going naked. The day made me think that I wish I knew the best way to enjoy a clothing “optional” beach. So after a little research (Click this article for more details), here are some tips for you.
Advice on how to enjoy a Nude Beach.
1. Relax.
Deep breathes. Yes, there are naked men and women around. But relax! Clothing is optional. If you are not feeling it, then keep your trunks or bikini on.
2. Choose your level of Nude.
So you are now relaxed and you want to experience being nude, there are different levels you can go too.
A. Full: You are fully naked, all the time. You walk around naked. Play volleyball naked. Sun bathe naked. Or swim naked. This is for the truly adventurous.
B. Periodic: Still fully naked, but only at key times. You may sun bathe or swim naked, but throw on the trunks for the volleyball game.
C. Sarong or towel: It is also accept to lounge naked or without a suit, yet wear a sarong or towel.
3. Be Friendly.
Nudists are a friendly bunch, so relax and be friendly with the people around you.
4. No Staring.
Definitely keep your eyes to yourself and your friends.
5. No Photographs.
Same with photographs, keep these to people you know or the sunset.
6. Enjoy the Experience.
“What is the big deal about being naked anyways?” For me it was a philosophical experience, where I enjoyed the sun and thought about why being naked is such a big deal in our culture.
What are your thoughts?

for me public beach nudity feels liberating and scandalous at the same time….it’s the society I’ve grown up in.
If I were in Malaga on a beach with mucho caliente Spaniards around I’d def feel liberated
If I were on a public beach on Lake Michigan que scandalo!
