“Each time we face our fear, we gain strength, courage, and confidence in the doing.” – Unknown

Meet Nikki R.

Nikki R. is a very happy woman who works at a gas station.  She is scared to take a photograph for my movie.  But after she gets a cup of coffee in her, she faces her fears.  “I got my liquid courage.”

Nikki R. wants to travel someday too.

Meet Chuck: He has a Big Truck.

“Patience is the key to paradise.” – Catherine Pulsifier

Meet Chuck.

Chuck picks me up outside of Memphis.  He is from a small town in northern Louisiana.

Chuck works on an oil rig in Pennsylvania.  He just got this job and it is first time, this far north.  He makes a lot of money at this job and he only has a sixth grade education.  He doesn’t think he will ever change jobs.

Chuck has a crossbow in his back seat.  He uses it to hunt deer and hog in Louisiana.

Chuck is tired so he lets me drive his large, diesel, 12 cylinder truck.  I think it is a Ford.  I drive well.

“A friend is one of the nicest things you can have, and one of the best things you can be.”  ~Douglas Pagels

Meet Elysia.

I met Elysia in Temecula, California at Starbucks.  She gave me a large cup of coffee when I ordered a small.  She also gave me a chocolate cupcake.

We maintained friendship through Facebook and wouldn’t you know it.  She lives in Memphis, where I was stopping through.

Elysia invites me to stay with her family in Memphis and we eat big southern meals and watch Ghost Adventurers.
